What Is A Notary?

A notary is a person authorized (by the state, DC) to perform certain legal formalities, especially to draw up or certify contracts, deeds, and other documents for use in other jurisdictions and for individuals needs.

What Do Notaries Do?

A notary's main functions are to administer oaths & affirmations, take affidavits and statutory declarations, witness and authenticate execution of an array of certain classes of documents.
